Before Requesting Appliance Repair
Before requesting service, it helps to gather the appliance brand, model number, and a short description of the issue. Photos of error codes, unusual damage, leaks, or the appliance itself can also help speed up scheduling and parts research.
Where to Find Your Model Number
Before requesting appliance repair, it helps to have the model number available. The model number is usually printed on a sticker or metal tag somewhere on the appliance. Locations vary by brand and model, but the examples below show common places to check.
Washer Model Number
Washer model tags are commonly located around the lid opening, inside the door area, along the frame, or on the rear/top area of the machine. On front-load washers, check around the door opening. On top-load washers, check under the lid or around the lid frame.
Dryer Model Number
Dryer model tags are often located inside the door opening, along the front frame, or around the area where the door closes. Some models may also have the tag on the rear panel or near the control area.
Dishwasher Model Number
Dishwasher model tags are usually found along the inner door edge, side of the tub opening, or frame area where the door closes. Open the dishwasher door and check around the left, right, and upper edges.
Oven/Range Model Number
Oven and range model tags are commonly located around the oven door frame, behind the lower storage drawer or warming drawer, or near the frame behind the drawer opening. Some models may have the tag near the control panel area. If checking behind the lower drawer, make sure the appliance is cool before reaching near the oven area.

When to Stop Using an Appliance
Stop using an appliance if it smells like burning, trips a breaker, leaks heavily, sparks, smokes, or makes loud mechanical noises. Continuing to use the appliance may make the issue worse or create a safety concern.
Appliances and Services Not Offered
Meyer Home Solutions does not service refrigerators, freezers, sealed refrigeration systems, compressors, or gas lines. Gas and propane appliances, including select grills, may be serviced appliance-side, but gas-line installation, modification, repair, testing, or connection work is not offered.
